What vegetables will I receive in my weekly share?

We’ve organized our harvests and our packing system to bring you a customized share each week! The variety available is based on what is in season on any given week. Early season boxes are usually lighter in weight and have more leafy greens. Later season boxes are usually heavier and have storage crops like potatoes. Mid season boxes usually have the most variety and include summer fruits like tomatoes and melons.

what do i do if there is a week that i’m unable to pick up my box?

there are several options for skipping a weekly pick up. please call or email us before the pick up day to make arrangements.

  1. Arrange to have a friend or neighbor pick up your share for you. Be sure they know where and when to get your box!

  2. Ask us to skip delivery for the week you are away, and we will send you 2 boxes the following week.

  3. Ask us to donate your box to a family in need or local pantry.

  4. Ask us to hold your box at the farm so you can pick it up here later in the week.

How are Old Plank Farm vegetables grown?

We have been growing vegetables since 2009 using organic and sustainable growing methods. No pesticides, herbicides, or GMOs are used to grow your crops. No post-harvest chemicals are used to extend shelf-life. However our produce usually lasts a week or more if stored properly, because it is much fresher than produce sold in stores. By becoming an Old Plank Farm member you’ll get all the health benefits of vegetables straight out of an organic garden, without having to grow them yourself! All of the varieties of each crop are chosen for superior eating quality and flavor. Occasionally this means our produce lacks perfect appearance like store-bought produce.
